It started with a yes.
The story of Vibe Church North Shore began long before our first service. In October 2025, a small group of believers from the Northshore communities of Chicago approached Pastor Lawrence Henderson Sr. with a sincere request:
"Would you come to the Northshore and lead a Community Bible Study?"
Rather than responding immediately, Pastor Henderson entered a season of intentional prayer, seeking God's direction with humility and patience. Over several weeks, he prayed, listened, and waited for the Lord's voice. During this time, God began stirring a deeper burden in his heart — a call to reach the unchurched, the searching, the hurting, and those longing for a spiritual home.
Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Henderson stepped forward in obedience, and the Northshore Community Bible Class was birthed. What began as a simple gathering quickly grew into a place of fellowship, learning, and spiritual transformation.

First Service
Vibe Church North Shore launches its first worship service at the North Chicago Community Center.
